I am very excited about this addition! It is extremely time-consuming to manually figure out the clock times needed to take a sequence of 10 evenly spaced partial phase images between C1 and C2. Then you have to do the calculation a second time because the duration between C3 and C4 is almost never the same as that between C1 and C2. I did this manually for 2 of the eclipses I have observed.
Now, because of the computing power of smart phones, I was able to have the smart phone do all the math! Instantly! The calculator will update the clock times based on whatever contact times you entered. As soon as you tap the button for "Partial Phase Image Times" it re-does the calculation for you! This is especially helpful if you have to change your observing site at the last minute.
